• Got an interest in the internet, online marketing, web design or e-commerce?
• Are you able to write clear-as-day lessons, professional press releases, as well as creative pieces with personality?

We're looking for someone to be the voice of our two big websites, creating articles, blog posts, lessons and newsletters (among other things).

You'll be Writing about topics like selling on eBay, internet marketing, web design and emerging trends in the online world, so we would prefer it if you had experience (or at least an interest) in these areas. But if you've got a good head on your shoulders, you'll probably pick it up pretty quickly. You'll also have the support of our other writers and technical staff.

You should be able to demonstrate that you can:

• Use the internet for research, though accompanied by a healthy dose of skepticism and the ability to discriminate "fact" from "fluff".
• Adjust your tone and style for the audience concerned.
• Discern the objective or purpose of a piece, and write in accordance with this.
• Write with flair and personality (we're tired of "wooden" writing!)
• Translate complicated ideas into plain-English, while capturing the notoriously short attention span of the average web user.
• Check your facts, ask questions when you're unsure, and use the people and resources around you to understand your topic completely.
• Write with efficiency and accuracy, empathy and creativity. It also helps if your technical grasp of English is good!

This is a great opportunity to flesh out your portfolio: You'll be producing a range of document types on a range of subjects for a range of audiences. You'll also get to work in a relaxed creative environment with a young and amusing team.

While qualifications or experience in writing or journalism would be great, we're more interested in your capabilities than your experience. If you think you've got that "spark" we're after... we want to hear from you.
