Wordpress Developer Job (Plugin/Theme)

We're on the hunt for a developer with a passion for a solid understanding of the Open Source Platform, Wordpress. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years commercial experience on Wordpress 2-3+, an understanding of plug-in development and be an enthusiastic follower of current and emerging web technologies focused around Wordpress.
A strong understanding of PHP, JS, HTML, CSS and database technology is essential, as is a flair for providing solid programming with feature-rich interfaces focused on customer usability.
What will you be doing?
You will be creating, improving and adding new functionality to our advanced Wordpress Plug-in/Theme, AffiloTheme, including:
- Carrying out improvements to the core and front end.
- Suggesting and developing solutions to improve the theme.
- Adding additional functionality and reviewing customer requests.
- Sharing your thoughts and giving input on the direction of our software.
- Supporting and responding to customer requests on our forum and through our ticket system.
Essential skills and abilities
- Wordpress - 5+ years commercial programming experience
- Good knowledge of the Wordpress API and developing Themes/Plug-ins with it
- Experience with parent/child theme frameworks such as StartBox.
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
- Using version control software
- Knowledge of mod_rewrite in Apache
- Knowledge of http fundamentals (request, response headers)
